Title: Fayetteville to Lynchburg and Back - 53 Scenic Miles
Start Location: Fayetteville First Baptist Church Parking Lot (Slightly North of Square on 431) at 301 N. Main Ave North (GPS users: the North is important.)
Arrive Time: 8:50 A.M. (Roll out Promptly at 9:00)
Date: Saturday, 20 April
Distance: 53 Miles
Ride Leader: Ernie Thomas,
Description: Challenging ride. This route may lack mileage but the hills/rollers and beauty make up for the mileage shortage. It is a very scenic ride of 53 miles with lots of climbing hills/rollers (cumulative climb 2630 ft). I expect the overall average pace to be 14-15 mph. This means on the flats we will be riding at 15+ mph (of course slower on the climbs and faster on the descents). We will regroup at the tops of climbs, after fast descents, and at major intersections.
Group Rest Stop: Lynchburg Square
