This is a BEAUTIFUL moderate ride of 52 miles with an average pace of 15-16 mph and Raul will be the sweeper with anticipated pace of 14-15 mph but still No Rider Left Behind. The route will first go to Sharps Cove, Sharps Hollow and then Upper Hurricane Creek. The route has a bunch of hills/rollers with a cumulative climb of ~2140 ft, but no major climb.

Rest Stops:  1st RS at Madison County Lake @ 18 Miles & 2nd RS @ Madison County Lake @ ~44 Miles. It also has 4 quick stops (no service) at Sharps Cove, Sharps Hollow, End of Upper Hurricane Rd, and end of Dear Trace.

The link for the cue sheet and map is: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/16392031 . This route is listed on the SCCC RWGPS Club Account.

Bring a cue sheet and/or a map and/or Garmin and have the phone number of the Ride Leaders. It is also recommended that you have the phone number of at least one friend.

Again this is a moderate ride of 52 Miles with a lot of hills & rollers. It is desirable that you be able to the stated average pace and distance. If you choose to ride at a much faster pace or deviate from the either route, then you are on your own.
