What is this?
Any interested ride leaders for the year should plan on participating in this Zoom call to cover need-to-know information for successfully leading a group ride. Zoom dial-in information and a Facebook event are forthcoming.
Here’s a checklist for those thinking about stepping up to be a ride leader this year:
? Attend the bike maintenance clinics (virtually or in person!) - all 4 of them if you can. Each session will cover a different topic.
? Attend the ride leaders’ training session (via Zoom on the first Tuesday of March.
? Sign up to be an official member of the Belles at www.springcity.org (this will ensure that the rides you lead will be covered by the club insurance and also you can get access to the rides database on RideWithGPS.
? Reach out to Sasha or to any of the board members about any ideas you have on group rides!
