Distance: 44.3 Miles (2000’gain) &amp; 34.8 miles (1434’gain)<br />Start Location: Hayes Chapel Baptist Church, 199 St. Clair Rd, New Market, AL<br />Date and Start Time: Saturday, 22 October @ 9:00 AM<br />Ride Leaders: Fred McMurry, Lewis Harmon &amp; Hunter Chockley<br /><br />Description:<br />Start Hayes Chapel Baptist Church, 199 St. Clair Rd., New Market, AL 35761 with rest stop at Prichard&#39;s distillery 14.7 miles. Expect the rest stop at Prichard&#39;s to take approximately 30 minutes for the tour and tasting. Tour and tasting are completely optional. At 19 miles start the climb and at 21 miles enjoy the view from Crystal Ridge down into the valley. Caution on Crystal Ridge Road due to steep descent and areas of bad road surface. Final rest stop at Flintville Mini-Mart 33.3 miles then a few rollers back to New Market.<br /> <br />Bring snacks/lunch and water. The store in Flintville (rest stop #2) may be closed.<br /> <br />There are two routes. Both routes go together to Prichard’s in Tennessee but the shorter route does not go further to Crystal Ridge.
