Join us Sat. July 24 for an AYCE prep ride progressing to 50+. We’ll clip in at 8:00 am from the Larkinsville Baptist Church parking lot (362 Harvey Wilborn Rd. 35768). We’ll ride up and cool off at the Tumbling Rock cave, then ride over for a giggle at the Rock Zoo. Pace 12-14 NRLB and 15-17 for a breakaway group.<br />https://ridewithgps.com/routes/36828825<br />We anticipate passing the Unclaimed Baggage store. If there are riders who want to cut 9 miles each way out of the route, meet up with us there (~8:40).<br />The first rest stop is mile 14 at the Pikeville restaurant. It is open from 10-2:30.<br />The second stop is mile 24 at Tumbling Rock cave. We’ll spend some time there catching a cool breeze. A port-a-potty is available.<br />The third stop is mile 30 at the Rock Zoo for pics.<br />The next stop is Machen Shorty’s grocery (169 Rail Rd St. 35752) in Hollywood. It is open until 2. Restroom and snacks.<br />The last stop (if necessary) is back at the Pikeville restaurant which will be open. They sell Power Aid and water, but no snacks. The restroom is available.<br />Riders will need to carry the food: crackers, Goo, Blocks they need.
