Moderately-paced advanced ride. 2.5 - 3.5 hours. 14-16.5 mph average, including hills. One stop. Two-up paceline. Route based on weather conditions.
Route is the Maysville-Gurley-Dug Hill-Harris Hill Loop for 49 Miles
Description: Rolling route, with a 1km climb on the return to town. First section is 13 percent grade. Bailout option available. One stop at half-way point.
If you can comfortably ride 15-16 mph on the flats and know how to find and find follow a draft, then this ride should be fine for you.
Hammering generally discouraged with some exceptions.
