Spring City Cycling Club,
September 20th is our very own All You Can Eat Century! Are you ready to ride? Have you signed up? The RAM riders have been gearing up and are ready to roll. And, for a few people that will complete their 4th century in the Alabama Backroads Century series! BOOM 2014 PATCHES COMPLETED! For the animals that have at this point already got theirs. Please consider volunteering. Or, you can volunteer the week prior and bring pretty spray painted arrows to the city of New Hope. We still NEED volunteers. We still have one un-led rest stop. Anyone have a Boy or Girl Scout Troop looking for an opportunity? We need people to put together packets on the 17th. There are opportunities galore! While you’re there check out the cool swag we’re handing out! I have 10 ROAD ID Gift Certificates to hand out to volunteers. I’ll be doing a drawing of the volunteer names for those recipients and will announce the winners on the SCCC website within 2 days of the AYCE completion.
Also be aware that the Birmingham Bicycle Club’s 41st Annual Century is on September 6th. As part of the ABCS this could be the big number 4 for a few of you and a chance for everyone to see the beautiful Ashville Alabama scenery. We are so blessed.
