Blazing the Singing River Trail for Cyclists

The Singing River Trail will be a 200+ mile greenway system that strengthens regional bonds, and creates new health and wellness, educational, economic, tourism, and entrepreneurial opportunities for the people and communities of North Alabama.

What is a RideWithGPS Collection?

RideWithGPS Collections are a bundle similar routes that our members share and can make available to the general public. Club members will be able to access any public or Members Only Collection from your Club Account and Club Mobile Homepage.

This screen shot shows the initial collection of routes and the view of those routes as a Collection.

SCCC members will be all be to view the RideWithGPS collection, click on a rides/routes to get details. Routes can be made viewable to the general public.

Building the SCCC SRT Collection of cycling routes

Using our club RidewithGPS subscription, our members will be able to create a Collection of RideWithGPS routes along the Singing River Trail (SRT) creating a contiguous group of routes from Bridgeport to the Natchez Trace.

Navigating to the Collection routes

1. Login to your RideWIthGPS account
2. Sign in the the Spring City Cycling Club account
3. Select Collection
4. Select Singing River Trail

What is an SCCC SRT route?

Road route
Starts at a SRT town, or
Ends at a SRT town, or
Goes through one or more SRT towns

Off-road routes
Starts at public land along SRT, or
Ends at public land along SRT, or
Goes through one or more trailheads along SRT

Document route with photo of a start point, end point, or point of interest

How members are building the SCCC SRT Collection

Club members will create SRT routes and rides in RideWithGPS route planning tool

Club routes along the SRT will have comment tag: SRT SCCC Road, SRT SCCC Mnt, or SRT SCCC Trail

Members notify Route Managers to add route/ride to SRT Collection with name and link
