Title: Coldwater Ride-Mini 44<br /><br />Distance: 44 Miles <br /><br />Start Location: Sparkman Middle School, 2697 Carters Gin Rd, Toney, AL<br />Date &amp; Time: Saturday, 10 July @ 8:00 AM<br />Weather call by 6:45AM<br />Ride Coordinator: Lewis Harmon, 256-651-4537 (cell) 15-16mph<br /><br />Description: This is a moderate ride of 44 miles. The route heads north into Tennessee at mile 11 and loops around the state with an incline of approximately 4 miles. The planned average pace for the moderate group is 15-16 mph with a cumulative climb of 1075 ft.<br /><br />The link to the cue sheet &amp; map is: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/32442888<br /><br />This route link is posted on the SCCC RWGPS Club Account.<br /><br />Rest Stops: Kirkland Grocery Store (if open) ~17 miles, Taft TN Store (after climb) ~28 miles <br /><br />If you choose to ride at a much faster pace than the leader or deviate from the route, then you are on your own.<br /><br />Bring a cue sheet and/or a map to the ride and also have the phone number of the Ride Leader and the phone number of at least one friend. <br />This is a beautiful relatively easy ride with a few rollers, and one long (4 mi) incline/hill but make sure you can do the stated pace and distance.
