The RAM series is a collection of weekly rides that help cyclists advance their skills and ride longer distances.
- Learn routes around Huntsville
- Learn cycling safety
- Learn cycling maintenance
- Ride for social and physical benefits
The RAM series is an invitation by SCCC to local bicyclists. The goal of the RAM program is to prepare riders to be able to ride the SCCC All You Can Eat Metric Century (100 kilometers) on September 16. The RAM rides will start on April 29th with the basics of riding. Each week the group rides will increase in distance. Every ride will have a ride leader and a "No Rider Left Behind" policy. It is an excellent development program for riders to ride confidently with a group.
Participants need to possess a serviceable bike and a moderate level of fitness. Wearing a helmet and having a tail light on your bicycle are required.
