Expectations: Please make sure you are familiar with the route. Bring a cue sheet and/or navigational device and have the phone numbers of the Ride Leader and the phone number of at least one friend. Be aware that cell phone service can be spotty. Text message may be the best way to communicate during the ride.
Expected end of ride speed is 14+/- mph but faster on flats and slower on climbs. Generally, riders are expected to stay together and watch out for each other. Be confident you can do the stated speed and distance. A faster group may form depending on who shows up.
